Im not really understanding why america is still selling toy guns in the stores or anywhere, Years ago when I heard about a boy in my own town getting shot and killed by a police officer because the officer thought the boy had a real gun while playing in the park with his friends. Today I still hear about people being shot over toy guns, They make it so hard for everyone to tell if you have a real gun or not because the toy guns are made to look so real. Why does america still have to make these false guns and what purpose does it teach our children. Back in the day kids used for playing cowboys and Indians but things have changed so much over the years I think its time for them to change their ideas about making these guns. With all the video games and movies their are too many people and children getting bad ideas and wanting to even just play around but then someone innocent gets killed. I have read about children thinking their parents guns were toys and end up killing the parents or a sibling. I wish there was someway we could get these guns banned, maybe everyone who sees this the way I do can get together and petition to remove all toy guns and have them destroyed. There are too many people who dont have enough common sense to lock up their guns or teach their children about them. A friend of mine was shot 3 years ago by her 8 year old, they had their guns locked up but the son knew where the key was and thought it was a play gun, She was shot in the shoulder and cant use her arm no more and the son suffers emotion breakdowns cause of what he had done. I would love to hear what others have to say about this and wonder if they would argue my wish to destroy and remove toy guns. Is there anyone who would like to petition guns removed?
